Meet Luke.

Luke Barbosa is a songwriter, small group leader and ordained minister from Southern California. Blessed to be married to his wife Samantha, they minister together as Friendship Group administrators at AWE Church in Baldwin Park, CA. Luke began writing sermon/lesson series’ as a kids church leader, then after being called to small group ministry, that passion manifested into writing lessons for their small groups, along with other talented teachers/writers such as George and Dina Barbosa, Jared Barbosa, Matthew Barbosa and Rudy Fullerton. Creating lessons that speak to the soul and challenge the mind has been a passion of Luke’s for years, and his desire is to equip leaders with teaching tools to effectively teach Biblical truths with simple yet profound lessons in their own churches. The Bible isn’t boring, and the truth doesn’t need to be sugar-coated in order to be taught to a “modern audience”. Like Paul on Mars Hill, the desire for our lessons is to use today’s language to teach the unchanging truth of the Bible.
